Know This Car? Driver Sought For Hit-Run Near Pottstown

Officials are searching for the driver who crashed into a mailbox in North Coventry Township last week and then fled the scene.

The hit-and-run happened on the 500 block of West Cedarville Drive around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, authorities said. 

Police said the suspect vehicle is a red Jeep Compass and will likely have damage on the passenger side from the crash. 

Anyone who can identify the car's owner is asked to call North Coventry Police Department at 610-323-8360 or submit an anonymous tip online via Crimewatch.
